Living in the Love of the Trinity.
As I reflect on this great feast of the Most Blessed Trinity, I am drawn to both a reflection on love, and a living out of that love in relationship with others. We often my find ourselves reflecting on the Theology of God, who God is and how God is One, not three but One God who reveals Himself to us in three distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Having concluded the Easter Season with the celebration of Pentecost the Church teaches us of the unique and Divine Relationship of the God who is love.
So we here in the Prologue of John the intimate union of the Father and Son in John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.” John later teaches us the out of love the Word became Flesh and made His dwelling amongst us, we see the oneness and unity of God and from this unity Love coming forth from the Father in and through His Son Jesus. And last week we here Jesus out of love for us promising to send us the Paraclete, or Advocate namely the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit Comes to us a gift from the Father in and through Jesus to Son.
How do we apply this great love of the Most Blessed Trinity to our lives. In God who is Trinune we see the perfection of Love . The love of the Father coming forth in the Son, and manifest by the Holy Spirit. This love is the model for us a Christian. The true love of the Christian is a joyful and loving willingness to give totally of oneself for others. To build up and support in a powerful loving way. Allow that love to be manifest through the gifts that the Holy Spirit in our lives. Paul tell us that ”
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good

Praise the Holy Trinity
Some truths, like the very existence of God, can be known by human reason alone. Other truths, like the fact that God is One in Three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – can only be known if God reveals them to us. We could never conclude on our own that God is a Trinity. Today’s Feast is not only an opportunity for thanking God for telling us more about himself. It is an occasion to take courage as we strive for deeper unity within the human family. God reveals himself to us in order to make us more like himself – not just as individuals, but as families, nations, and an international community. We grow in unity as we give ourselves away to one another, just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit give themselves to each other completely.
